The Art Club at Grand Avenue Middle School in the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District has been decorating Thanksgiving bags for local families in need.
On Nov. 17, the students broke out used various art mediums to colorfully create a gift bag.
“Grand Avenue supplies families in need with Thanksgiving meals every year, and this is an artistic touch to help put a smile on families’ faces,” said teacher Nick Giordano. “It also fosters individual creativity during our club time.”
